Description

You will provide direct financial and cost accounting support for the entire facility.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly plant metrics, including labor, overhead, scrap, and throughput variance analysis.
• Manage month-end close processes for labor entries, accruals, inventory reconciliations, material COS, overhead analysis, and transfer pricing.
• Support the development of plant product costs, annual operating plans, and periodic forecasts.
• Track plant productivity projects and coordinate with plant personnel to optimize results.
• Maintain inventory control in WIP areas and support physical inventories and perpetual transactions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a cost accounting position.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or Purchasing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access.
• Experience with standard cost and inventory systems.
• Strong project management experience.
• Knowledge of Cost Analysis and Labor Cost Management.
• Ability to ensure all accounting conforms with GAAP and company policy.
