Description

Manage and optimize Couchbase datasets in highly available production environments. You will design, tune, and deploy data structures while ensuring enterprise-grade security and replication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, tune, and deploy Couchbase datasets to ensure high availability.
• Optimize database performance through configuration tuning, physical design alterations, and benchmarking.
• Expand Couchbase functionality and manage data maintenance, replication, and encryption.
• Monitor DBMS health and use analysis tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell, Bash, or Python scripts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of DBA expertise, including at least 1 year of hands-on Couchbase experience.
• Proficiency in writing SQL and N1QL for performance optimization.
• Experience with Sync Gateway.
• 1+ years of experience working within AWS or Azure environments.
• Strong command of Linux environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of DBMS ecosystems, including storage formats, access algorithms, and data management.
• Proficiency in Shell or Bash scripting; Python experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting experience.
