Description

You will architect and build unified federated search platforms, defining technical roadmaps for performance, relevancy, and personalization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Coveo search platform projects.
• Design and implement search schemas, pipelines, features, and indexes.
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate semantic search and recommendation engines.
• Define strategies for performance optimization and query pipeline tuning.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of software engineering or architecture experience.
• 5–10+ years hands-on experience with Coveo.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Strong expertise in SOLR or Elastic Search.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Deep understanding of search ranking models and indexing strategies.
• Working knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Experience with A/B testing and metrics-driven relevancy improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI/ML models such as BERT, transformers, and LLMs.
