Description

You will design and implement scalable, high-performance search platforms tailored to specific customer requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build unified federated search solutions integrating multiple sources, languages, and channels.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Coveo search platform projects and define technical roadmaps.
• Design and maintain search schemas, pipelines, features, and indexes to improve relevance and user experience.
• Conduct performance tuning for search queries and indexing processes while monitoring performance metrics.
• Define strategies for performance optimization, relevancy tuning, and personalization.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.
• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale search solutions using Coveo.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing and metrics-driven relevancy improvement.
• Expertise in Coveo, including Usage Analytics (UA) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Knowledge of Coveo modules such as Headless Library, Atomic Library, and JavaScript Search Framework.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOLR, Elastic Search, Sitecore Search, or Algolia.
• Deep understanding of SEO principles, metadata structuring, and content optimization.
