You will design and evolve CPE architectures to integrate with OSS and BSS systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and product managers to define technical requirements and facilitate engineering estimates.
• Manage the vendor selection process, including issuing RFPs/RFIs, evaluating candidates, and making make-vs-buy decisions.
• Lead the CPE development test team to qualify new products and wireless technologies for production networks.
• Define requirements for new CPE features and develop testing methodologies to evaluate platform performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Wi-Fi to resolve production network and customer issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Lead CPE or Product Architect in a Service Provider or Vendor environment.
• Deep knowledge of the CPE vendor ecosystem, including chipsets, operating systems, firmware, and ODM/OEMs.
• Expertise in Wi-Fi and LAN standards, specifically 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and 802.11k/v/r/w.
• Advanced understanding of RF principles, band steering, EasyMesh, and QoS (WMM).
• Proficiency in CPE architectures involving IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and advanced routing.
• Experience with telemetry and remote management protocols including TR-069/CWMP, TR-369/USP, SNMP, and NetFlow/IPFIX.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi testing tools such as Ixia, Spirient, and Candela (TR398).
• Strong grasp of L2 protocols and WiFi security protocols.
