Description

You will validate Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and back-end systems, ensuring stability through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation using Wireless Clients and Wi-Fi networks to verify system functionality.
• Act as the first-level escalation point for beta customer issues, handling field triage and troubleshooting.
• Develop software and network engineering solutions, including designing and testing internet access devices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including detailed test plans and strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of work experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of wireless network concepts and IEEE 802.11 (WLAN) standards.
• Deep understanding of IP networking principles and IEEE 802.3 (Ethernet) protocols.
• Experience in test planning, test case review, development, and strategy.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and reproducing issues within a lab environment.
• Knowledge of CWMP (TR-069, TR-181), Cable Modems, CMTS, ACS, and SNMP.
• Familiarity with FTTx technologies such as G-PON.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and Sun Solaris operating systems.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Agile methodologies with exposure to HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Proficiency in Office tools including Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
