Description

You will provide CPE validation and automation engineering services to ensure device performance and network compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Execute CPE validation and automation tasks for TR-069 routers and network devices.
• Develop TR-069 related scripts and custom command line tools using Java, Python, or Go.
• Build and customize shell scripts to validate vendor-specific parameters including ports, WiFi radios, and SSID packets.
• Generate throughput, KPI, and performance metrics to compile detailed test reports and statistics.
• Perform root-cause analysis and debugging to resolve hardware and software issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in validation or automation engineering.
• Proficiency in software automation using Python and Expect.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with WiFi performance testing.
• Solid understanding of RF concepts, including splitters, attenuators, antennas, and RF shielded boxes.
• Experience using lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, L2 networking, switches, and Wireshark debugging.
• Ability to write shell scripts for network validation and experiment execution.
• Proven background in debugging and root-cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Octoscope or Veriwave test equipment.
• Knowledge of L3 networking and routers.
