Description

Drive the assessment, benchmarking, and integration of new server systems and architectures. You will analyze application performance across CPUs, GPUs, storage, and memory subsystems in virtual machines and bare metal environments.

Responsibilities

• Optimize hardware utilization, cost, and performance for diverse application stacks.
• Lead the profiling, debugging, and integration of new server architectures.
• Drive necessary technical changes and make informed decisions independently.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, storage, and memory subsystems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in performance engineering with hands-on server system experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, storage, memory, and GPU technologies.
• Proficiency with Linux perf, flamegraph, and eBPF.
• Experience with synthetic benchmarking suites including specCPU2017, specJBB, and MLperf.
• Strong knowledge of the Linux kernel and compilers.
• Experience with container environments including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Working knowledge of Java, Golang, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application-specific benchmarks for databases, event streaming, and Golang.
