Description

Architect remote engineering support solutions for the cloud-based operation of autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions for remote vehicle operation and monitoring of sensors, connectivity, and ROS nodes.
• Develop modular prototype software to meet diverse engineering requirements.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Conduct end-to-end testing with prototypes and analyze experimental data.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build scalable systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive or robotics industry.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with autonomous, self-driving, or smart vehicle technologies.
• Strong networking knowledge, including tunneling, cellular reliability, and encryption/security.
• Experience with cloud services.
• Basic knowledge of UX design.
• BSEE, BSCS, or a relevant 4-year engineering degree.
• Experience with ROS (training provided for producing Lidar data).

Preferred Skills

• LIDAR experience.
• Knowledge of AI, Big Data, and Client-side technologies.
