You will evaluate creditworthiness to determine loan eligibility and manage financial risk.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit history, numerical figures, and transaction data to mitigate financial risk.
• Investigate and resolve queued fraud and financial risk issues using defined procedures.
• Establish terms for approved credit requests and monitor accounts to ensure good standing.
• Conduct outbound calls to customers to validate payment transactions.
• Handle escalated questions regarding suspected fraud from other business units.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry.
• Proven ability to identify behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions.
• Strong research and investigative skills with proficiency in internet research.
• Ability to make independent, sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience providing empathetic, accurate, and efficient resolutions to complex customer escalations.
• Ability to aggregate and evaluate data to support organizational decision-making.
• Write accurate case notes and review work from other risk agents to provide feedback or approval.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, economics, or accounting.
