Design, build, and manage Cribl Stream pipelines and routes for log data transformation in a hybrid deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Cribl Stream in a hybrid Leader/Worker architecture.
• Build Cribl Pipelines and Routes using Regex, Eval, and Mask functions.
• Develop Cribl Packs and use JavaScript for complex data transformation.
• Parse logs using Regex and optimize data flow efficiency.
• Collaborate on data engineering workflows using GCP tools (Python, SQL, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run) if applicable.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• 2+ years of recent, hands-on experience with Cribl.
• Deep expertise in Cribl Stream architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in Regex, Eval, and Mask functions for log parsing.
• Experience with JavaScript for data transformation within Cribl.
• Strong understanding of Cribl Packs and pipeline logic.
• Option A: Solid data engineering skills alongside Cribl expertise.
• Option B: Strong GCP data engineering skills (Python/SQL/BigQuery/Dataflow/Cloud Run) with some Cribl experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud log management architectures.
• Familiarity with GCP data pipelines and serverless compute.
