Description

Design and implement large-scale, distributed software solutions within an Agile environment. Own various phases of the SDLC including project planning, analysis, design, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze, reverse-engineer, and develop complex technology solutions.
• Partner with QA to prepare and automate test cases.
• Ensure applications meet performance, privacy, and security requirements through consistent monitoring and tuning.
• Write clean, documented code incorporating unit testing and standard coding methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience designing complex, distributed systems.
• Expertise in Core Java and object-oriented software development.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker (RedHat OpenShift or similar).
• Experience developing REST APIs using the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong knowledge of client/server architecture, JSON, MQ, and JMS.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle and mid-tier to database development principles.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Shell, and Perl scripting.
• Proficiency with SCM, DevOps, and CI/CD tools including GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Background in the financial industry.
