Description

You will design and implement custom ETL processes to populate complex data warehouse environments without relying on tool-based ETL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom ETL workflows using Python, Shell scripting, and Java.
• Analyze source data to identify and resolve data quality issues before loading.
• Automate tasks and maintain DevOps practices within the deployment pipeline.
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to team members and management.
• Support 24/7 production database environments through on-call rotations.

Required Skills

• 2-4+ years of experience with SQL and/or PL/pgSQL.
• Expertise in Shell scripting, including regular expressions and task automation.
• Experience creating custom ETL workflows using Python.
• Proficiency with Atlassian suites: Git, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira.
• Experience working on complex data warehouse projects.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Ansible scripting and AWS cloud environment experience.
• Database Administration (DBA) skills.
• Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL, DB2, and Oracle.
