Description

job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks using Java and/or Kotlin.

Create and execute automated tests to verify third-party partner APIs and integrations.

Define test strategies, test coverage, and automation plans for new application features and enhancements.

Develop and maintain REST API test suites while diagnosing and resolving test failures.

Contribute to the design and development of testing tools, frameworks, and automation infrastructure.

Perform root cause analysis of complex technical issues and drive automation failures to resolution.

Collaborate with development and product teams to improve application quality, reliability, and test coverage.

Prioritize, schedule, and communicate testing activities, risks, and status updates to stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

5+ years of hands-on industry experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.

Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming.

Experience developing API automation frameworks with a strong focus on REST services.

Experience troubleshooting automation failures and analyzing complex distributed systems.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a testability mindset.

Ability to design comprehensive test cases and build robust automation solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing strategies for cloud-native applications.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and virtualization technologies.

Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and intelligent application platforms.

Experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks.

Knowledge of cloud application development, deployment, and testing best practices
