Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical software systems while shaping engineering standards and technical strategy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect full stack solutions using Java/Spring backend and React/Angular frontend on AWS.
• Lead design sessions, technical planning, and backlog refinement for complex engineering tasks.
• Define coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance guidelines for the team.
• Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, and DevOps best practices across the organization.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-team engineering decisions to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
• Deep proficiency in React or Angular for frontend development.
• Expert-level AWS knowledge including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Advanced CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices.
• Strong leadership in code reviews and engineering mentorship.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and Solution Architects on roadmap and strategy.

Preferred Skills

• High-scale event streaming with Kafka or Kinesis.
• Advanced container orchestration using EKS or Kubernetes.
• Observability stacks such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus/Grafana.
