Description

You will manage and refine technical documentation to support vehicle servicing and customer service needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical publication manuals and customer service documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback to authors to improve content quality and appearance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technical requirements.
• Apply Agile writing principles within an Agile development environment.
• Analyze technical specifications and service tools to produce accurate high-level solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing or information development.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in XML and DITA XML authoring using PTC ArborText Editor.
• Strong command of US English grammar and spelling.
• Experience working with the Chicago Manual of Style.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical terms within the automotive or trucking industry.
• Familiarity with service tools and vehicle servicing specifications.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• Automotive domain expertise.
