Description

Lead internal logistics projects to optimize supply chain efficiency by balancing requirements between external logistics, production engineering, and manufacturing groups.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Flowgen (flow rack generator) and train users across the region.
• Troubleshoot and improve parts flow issues related to new model management in collaboration with engineering groups and NAMC departments.
• Collaborate with Pilot Engineers to confirm process requirements, tool development, and system compliance.
• Act as the primary regional backup for system simulations using Flexsim.
• Create and update training documentation and distribute periodic KPI updates to end users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D for layout design.
• Experience with flow rack design and parts list management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Excel Macros, and Microsoft Access Database.
• Experience with system simulations.
• Experience with block coding languages or C++.
• Ability to travel 75%+ domestically and internationally to Canada and Mexico.
