Description

You will automate and maintain machine and container images while providing technical support for cloud and container environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain GCP machine images, client AMIs, and container images using internal automation tools.
• Provide 12x7 technical support to end-users via Slack and Jira to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot and identify technical problems within AWS, GCP, and container environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in a systems engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud technologies.
• Proficiency with containers including Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Golang.
• Experience automating software builds and deployments using Jenkins and CloudFormation.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency using Jira for issue tracking and task management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
