Description

You will develop and optimize SQL queries to extract security data from OCSF-structured data lakes, supporting GRC and security operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop parameterized SQL queries to extract security data from OCSF-structured data lakes.
• Collaborate with the Cyber GRC team to build queries for asset discovery, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Optimize query performance and ensure data retrieval accuracy for large-scale security datasets.
• Map security events to compliance frameworks and analyze suspicious network traffic.
• Provide documentation and guidance to enable GRC team members to use queries effectively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing parameterized queries.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Background in cybersecurity with knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity needs into efficient SQL queries.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work from the Atlanta, GA office 1-2 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF).
• Hands-on experience in security operations, threat hunting, or compliance mapping.
• Experience working with security event logs and SIEM platforms.
