Responsibilities

• Support cyber recovery and disaster recovery exercises

• Maintain and monitor backup/recovery platforms

• Execute restore procedures and recovery runbooks

• Assist with clean room and isolated recovery environment (IRE) operations

• Support recovery automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

• Maintain audit, compliance, and recovery documentation

• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams

Required Experience

• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering, IT operations, or backup/recovery engineering

• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment

• Hands-on experience with DR testing, backups, and restore operations

• Experience with Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, or NetBackup

• Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VLANs, firewall rules)

• Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST, or similar regulatory frameworks

Nice to Have

• Clean room or isolated recovery environment (IRE) exposure

• Terraform or Ansible experience

• ServiceNow or ITSM workflows

• Cyber recovery / ransomware exercise participation

• Security or cloud certifications
