Description

Act as a subject matter expert advising clients on strategic and practical data protection requirements driven by emerging risks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate technology and process solutions to mitigate data risks.
• Develop requirements, evaluate vendor solutions, and architect data protection frameworks.
• Align data risk program designs with existing cybersecurity and compliance programs.
• Lead workstreams and mentor junior staff members.
• Drive collaborative efforts across IT, legal, compliance, and business executive teams.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in data protection and information security.
• 2+ years of experience developing data protection strategies, roadmaps, and frameworks.
• Expertise in Data Discovery, Data Classification, Rights Management, and Data Access Governance.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Encryption.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools.
• Knowledge of Certificate Lifecycle Management, Cloud Security, and SaaS Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, or Starburst.
• Familiarity with Oracle, MS SQL, Active Directory, or LDAP.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
