Description

You will manage vulnerability and patch management programs, including oversight of Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM). You will assess security vulnerabilities, analyze their impact on infrastructure, and report findings using Power BI and Advanced Excel/PowerQuery.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vulnerability and patch management lifecycles and POAM tracking.
• Assess common security vulnerabilities and evaluate their impact on systems.
• Generate reporting and analysis using Power BI and Advanced Excel/PowerQuery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present materials to management.
• Apply security, IT Audit frameworks, and standards such as NIST and FFIEC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability or patch management.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Advanced Excel/PowerQuery for reporting.
• Strong understanding of SIEM tools and vulnerability management platforms.
• Familiarity with NIST, FFIEC handbooks, and IT Audit standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Cyber Security.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and management presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Security+.
