Description

You will protect information assets by implementing and maintaining technical security controls within the Security Operations Center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze anomalies from XDR and SIEM systems to identify threats.
• Implement, maintain, and document security safeguards and access controls.
• Conduct network and penetration tests, including application vulnerability scans.
• Review infrastructure changes to ensure adequate protection during the systems development life cycle.
• Promote information security awareness across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of information security experience.
• Strong analytical skills for security analysis and incident response.
• Ability to identify endpoint anomalies and malware exploitation techniques.
• Understanding of social engineering tactics.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to take prompt action on security events and collaborate with subject matter experts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, SonarQube, Tenable, or OpenText WebInspect.
• CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security, Certified Ethical Hacker, or Microsoft SC-200.
• Experience with ProofPoint, CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, or Syslog-NG.
