Description

You will monitor security events, analyze threats, and manage incident response procedures using SIEM tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts to identify threats and initiate incident response.
• Triage security tickets, review details, and ensure efficient routing to appropriate personnel.
• Manage customer requests including security configurations, reporting, and investigations.
• Support log management and SIEM solutions while troubleshooting security applications and appliances.
• Investigate improper access, revoke permissions, and monitor information requests to ensure authorized access.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of security industry experience or equivalent skill level.
• Technical proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to interpret information collected by security tools and apply intrusion detection techniques.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of how information travels across networks.
• Familiarity with proxy and web content filtering tools.
• Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience with bash, powershell, python, or KQL.
• Experience in system administration or network infrastructure.
• Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, CBROPS, or CEH.
