Description

You will monitor, analyze, and interpret system logs to identify unauthorized access or operational irregularities. You will own the response to security incidents, preserving forensic evidence and preventing loss.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents to prevent loss and preserve forensic evidence.
• Collaborate with response partners to determine root causes and remediate control gaps.
• Escalate security issues to management with details on severity, exposure, and required actions.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote information security awareness across the organization.
• Assess, implement, and manage security systems, processes, and tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security analysis or response.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Scripting and coding capability using Python, Regex, and Yara.
• Knowledge of current hacking techniques, vulnerability disclosures, and data breach incidents.
• Understanding of application protocols.
• Strong analytical, tactical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively across multiple levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
