Monitor system logs, analyze security events, and own incident response workflows to preserve forensic evidence and prevent data loss.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret system logs to identify unauthorized access or operational irregularities.
• Own incident response, preserving forensic evidence and preventing loss while collaborating with partners to determine root causes.
• Assess, implement, and manage security systems, processes, and tools to remediate control gaps.
• Escalate security issues to management with details on severity, exposure, and required actions.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote information security awareness across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security analysis or response.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Scripting and coding capability using Python, Regex, and Yara.
• Knowledge of current hacking techniques, vulnerability disclosures, and data breach incidents.
• Understanding of application protocols and cyber intelligence principles.
• Strong analytical, tactical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively across multiple levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
