Description

Architect and operationalize application-level security capabilities for Azure cloud and local data center environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and mature application security tools and standardized requirements across the region.
• Identify and document application-level vulnerabilities using structured and repeatable approaches.
• Secure Azure workloads including App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Virtual Machines.
• Perform threat modeling using STRIDE, C4, and MITRE methodologies to translate threats into actionable recommendations.
• Design secure authentication architectures using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0, integrating with Microsoft Entra ID.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure security, including NSGs, private endpoints, firewalls, and Key Vault.
• Proficiency in Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and application security design.
• Hands-on experience with identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, JWT validation, and RBAC.
• CISSP certification is required.
• Azure Certifications or active progress toward completion.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data flow diagramming and comprehensive threat modeling for critical applications.
• Ability to communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
