Cyber Security Consultant

You act as the bridge between security and business teams, escalating decisions when required.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming projects, scoping changes and defining necessary security controls prior to production.
• Participate in all project lifecycle phases: intake, design, implementation, and validation, ensuring solutions are secure.
• Lead risk-based discussions, helping teams prioritize security requirements against cost, feasibility, and business impact.
• Maintain documentation covering security requirements, risks, exceptions, and compliance status.
• Advise project teams based on current security trends, technologies, and frameworks.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in security engagement, security architecture, operations, or design.
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity domains: data protection, IT risk, network security, application security, identity and access management, remote access, and security operations.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both business and technical teams.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Jira.
