Design, architect, and integrate secure systems to improve program security posture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for engineering teams implementing Azure, AWS, firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, DNS, DLP, IDS/IPS, and proxies.
• Develop and administer security systems for manual and automated environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Manage, troubleshoot, and test security appliances, tools, and products to ensure data protection against unauthorized disclosure or modification.
• Support projects through the full software development lifecycle and manage technology roadmaps based on best practices.
• Develop capabilities in alignment with NIST, DHS, and Government guidelines and regulations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience engineering, operating, and managing layered security integration for on-premises or cloud/private cloud environments.
• 4+ years of experience managing and implementing a Tenable environment.
• 2+ years of professional experience with AWS or Azure infrastructure and services in a security-focused role.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure architectural concepts.
• Experience with Azure Sentinel (SIEM) and layered security integration.
• Experience with network protection devices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, log analysis, malware analysis, and packet analysis.
• Demonstrated experience handling incidents across multiple operating systems.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance; must be able to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability.
• Ability to perform shift work as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DNS and VPNs in a security context.
