Description

You will serve as a hands-on security professional responsible for ensuring security throughout the SDLC, implementation, and operational maintenance of security controls and countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Implement security controls and countermeasures across cloud platforms and on-premise systems.
• Review and assess the security design of technology upgrade projects to recommend controls and address challenges.
• Work with system integrators to follow NIST and NYDFS frameworks for securing data during storage, processing, and exchange.
• Develop security requirements for complex internet-facing applications, web services, and APIs.
• Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, performing investigations and implementing countermeasures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system design and security engineering across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong understanding of Secure SDLC, OWASP, and NIST frameworks.
• Expertise in secure design reviews and Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols.
• Proven experience implementing security solutions that align with defined architecture strategies.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISA.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IAM technologies including SAML, Federation, PAM, and MFA.
• Experience with Data Security, Cryptography, Encryption, and DLP tools.
• Familiarity with CASB, vulnerability scanning tools, and log management.
