Description

You will own security engineering tasks focused on data protection and compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support encryption technologies to secure structured data at rest.
• Monitor encryption systems to ensure optimal security and performance.
• Collaborate with vendors to deploy and manage encryption solutions while ensuring compliance.
• Contribute to the development and integration of encryption tools and processes.
• Assist with compliance activities, including audits, regulatory reporting, and documentation maintenance.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in a security engineering capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Solid understanding of Data Encryption Management and security protocols.
• Experience in Risk Management and compliance procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments, especially in financial services.
• Proficiency in Security Engineer functions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to encryption tools like Vormetric or CipherTrust Manager.
• Experience working with structured data environments and data lifecycle understanding.
