Description

You will lead incident response efforts and enhance proactive threat detection capabilities in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Act as Incident Commander during security incidents to assess scope, impact, and containment strategies.
• Design and execute incident response processes, including threat detection tool integration and automated response mechanisms.
• Manage communication and escalation channels between technical teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
• Configure, maintain, and automate security monitoring and response tools to reduce response times.
• Conduct regular incident response exercises and post-incident reviews to refine processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in incident command and managing high-pressure security incidents.
• Hands-on experience configuring and automating SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and data integration techniques for security system communication.
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Strong background in threat analysis, forensic investigation, and incident response strategy.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks and security configurations across diverse environments.
• Any Graduate degree.
