Description

Lead the development and implementation of network cyber defense capabilities. Own firewall coordination and traffic monitoring across USTRANSCOM environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network cyber defense capabilities.
• Coordinate complex firewall changes across the infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic and logs using SolarWinds NetFlow and AWS CloudTrail.
• Apply computer network theory and OSI model principles to security operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security engineering.
• IAT III certification per DoD 8140 requirements.
• Direct experience with USTRANSCOM environments.
• Experience with SolarWinds NetFlow.
• Experience with AWS CloudTrail.
• Deep understanding of Computer Network Theory and the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.
• Proficiency with various cyber security tools.
• Ability to coordinate complex firewall changes.
