Description

You will manage security operations and automation within a CSOC environment in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop SOAR playbooks and define complex logic flows.
• Implement and maintain security automation using Palo Alto Cortex SOAR.
• Manage network security controls including firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, and proxy services.
• Support security functions across SOC, CIRT, risk management, and vulnerability management.
• Coordinate security efforts across engineering, operations, and management teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network security.
• Hands-on experience with SOAR tool suites, specifically Palo Alto Cortex SOAR.
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Deep understanding of CSOC workflows and playbook development.
• Experience with endpoint, data, application, and cloud security.
• Technical expertise in Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, and Proxy technologies.
• Proven ability to work within SOC, CIRT, or security engineering functions.
