Description

You will own the security operations, strategy, and tooling for the infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and operate security tools across the infrastructure.
• Identify security gaps, assess risk, and create remediation plans.
• Manage vulnerability and patch management processes.
• Drive incident response and automation to support the security strategy.
• Evangalize security best practices across technical and business teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of enterprise security technologies: EDR, SIEM, PKI, IAM, and Privileged Access Management.
• Ability to build reports and dashboards using standard SQL.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Amazon Workspaces, Git, and Jira.
• Understanding of networking and cloud technologies.
• Flexibility to cover US EST working hours.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+).
• Experience with Splunk, Crowdstrike, Umbrella, or Rapid7.
• Familiarity with Nucleus, Snowflake, or Cisco Attack Surface Management.
