Description

You will manage and operate endpoint security technologies to protect systems against internal and external threats.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support endpoint security tools including EDR, Anti-virus, and DLP solutions.
• Investigate security incidents by analyzing logs to uncover compromise details, threat techniques, and involved systems.
• Execute root cause analysis and implement self-directed corrective actions through fault isolation and diagnostics.
• Automate security posture monitoring and aggregate data across platforms to design and develop alerting.
• Manage application-related projects and provide technical direction or training to junior staff members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies.
• Direct experience with EDR technologies is required.
• In-depth understanding of operating system internals and the mechanics of OS exploits.
• Proficiency in log file analysis and investigative techniques.
• Ability to create trending, metrics, and management reports.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Degree in Technology or a related area, or equivalent proven experience.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Splunk search language.
• Experience within the Financial Services Industry.
• Security certifications such as Ethical Hacking or specialized endpoint security credentials.
