Description

You will own automotive cybersecurity requirements, risk assessment, and architecture design.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Threat and Risk Assessments (TARA) for automotive systems.
• Define secure architectures and collaborate with system and software teams.
• Plan, design, and execute fuzz and penetration testing.
• Support cybersecurity incident detection, investigation, and test strategy definition.
• Train junior engineers and maintain organizational cybersecurity processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience within the automotive industry.
• Practical experience with TARAs and automotive development processes.
• Knowledge of cryptographic methods, algorithms, and secure network protocols.
• Experience applying security and safety standards such as ISO 21434 and SAE J3061.
• Technical knowledge of automotive embedded engineering and secure system architectures.
• Hands-on experience with automotive communication bus systems: CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications including CSSLP, CISSP, or Ethical Hacker.
