You will provide technical expertise within the Security Systems Unit to optimize IT security systems and investigate threats.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze evidence including network traffic, volatile data, and logs to identify indicators of compromise.
Perform real-time correlation of events from multiple data sources to detect anomalies and potential security incidents.
Resolve security investigation tickets through containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
Recommend improvements for security detection, monitoring, and the tuning of signatures, rules, and alerts.
Identify emerging technology trends and security threats relevant to the organizational context.
Required Skills
At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, endpoint, or email threat prevention management.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Defender Center, Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Email Protection, and Azure security.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: JAVA, C++, Python, Ruby, PHP, or JavaScript.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex security issues.
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to executive leadership.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 4 additional years of relevant experience.
