Description

You deliver hands-on instruction in CompTIA certification topics including A+, Networking+, and Security+, preparing students for industry-recognized certifications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in A+, Networking+, and Security+ certification topics.
• Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, labs, and assessments on Canvas.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and support to students pursuing cybersecurity career paths.
• Collaborate with program coordinators and contribute to continuous program improvement.

Required Skills

• Active certifications in at least two of the following: A+, Network+, Security+.
• Two years of teaching experience in A+, Networking+, or Security+ at high school or above.
• Strong foundational knowledge in cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Commitment to obtaining the remaining CompTIA certification within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills

• Holds all three certifications: A+, Networking+, and Security+.
• Previous teaching or training experience in cybersecurity or IT beyond CompTIA exams.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
