Description

You will manage cyber security operations, focusing on network protocols, cloud security, and incident response.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk management, mitigation, and incident response frameworks.
• Analyze and secure network protocols including TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, DNS, and SMB.
• Conduct cloud security assessments and infrastructure reviews.
• Perform memory forensics and file system analysis (exFAT, NTFS, ext4, APFS).
• Communicate security status and risks to senior management and executives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in information technology systems and security.
• Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, DNS, SMB).
• Proficiency in cloud security technologies and practices.
• Knowledge of file systems (exFAT, NTFS, ext4, APFS) and memory forensics.
• Experience with database and web application security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering, or related work experience.
• Proven ability to communicate technical risks to executive leadership.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years tenure in previous security management roles.
