You will own the planning, organization, and direction of cyber risk activities to safeguard technology and data from security breaches.
Responsibilities
- Develop cyber policies, processes, methodologies, and plans to mitigate security risks.
- Manage cybersecurity projects, vendors, and the selection and implementation of security hardware and software.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and analysis of security tool effectiveness.
- Coordinate, investigate, and report on cybersecurity incidents while implementing response recommendations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of responsible experience in cybersecurity and technology analysis/management within substantial organizations.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity controls, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience managing compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding privacy and computer crime.
- Proven ability to conduct cyber risk training for employees at various levels.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for reporting to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC certifications.
