Description

You will manage information security projects across vulnerability management, disaster recovery, application security, and DevSecOps. You will drive these initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies and track progress via Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA. You hold a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field and have 7+ years of total experience with 7+ years in cybersecurity project management. You maintain relevant certifications such as Security+, CCSP, SSCP, or CISSP.

Responsibilities

• Drive information security projects in vulnerability management, disaster recovery, application security, and DevSecOps.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Track project progress and status using Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure security standards are met.
• Report project status and risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total professional experience.
• 7+ years of specific experience in cybersecurity project management.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Active certifications in Security+, Certified in Cyber Security, SSCP, or CISSP.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools: Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing projects in vulnerability management and disaster recovery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Application Security and DevSecOps workflows.
• Local to Fremont, CA (remote work required for locals only).
