You identify and resolve highly complex cybersecurity issues to prevent cyber attacks on information systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and manage security mechanisms protecting networks and information systems from threats like hackers, viruses, and spyware.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate violations, and recommend enhancements to close security gaps.
- Execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) tasks and Security Control Assessments following NIST standards.
- Utilize automated tools and AI for control testing, risk scoring, and continuous assessments.
- Maintain risk registers and compliance reports.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Experience executing RMF Tasks and Security Control Assessments per NIST SP 800‑37/800‑53A.
- Proficiency in using automated tools and AI for security testing and risk management.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with team members on complex security projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
