Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of network technologies including protocols, design concepts, and access control. Experience with security technologies such as encryption, data protection, design, and privilege access. Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills. Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem solving skills with verbal and written communication abilities to technical and non-technical audiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing programs.
• Maintain security systems and administer security policies to control access to systems.
• Maintain company firewall and utilize applicable encryption methods for data protection.
• Create information security documentation related to work area and complete requests in accordance with company requirements.
• Respond to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
• Resolve and perform follow through to resolve all information security issues and questions.
• Implement and administer information security controls using software and vendor security systems.
• Identify opportunities and execute plans to improve workflow and understand business impacts for management communication.
• Interface with user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them.
• Provide status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures
