Description

You will protect information systems and assets by executing complex security procedures and managing data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex IT data and security forensic investigations.
• Manage internal vulnerability scanning, identification, and remediation to meet regulatory standards.
• Implement and administer cybersecurity-related systems and endpoint protection policies.
• Execute incident response, threat hunting, and participate in situational tabletop exercises.
• Ensure users adhere to established security processes and procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners such as Tenable or Nessus.
• Proficiency with endpoint protection, AV/XDR policy configuration, and endpoint agents.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, logging, syslog, and alerting.
• Windows and Linux server administration for on-premise security applications.
• Technical familiarity with Nmap, Wireshark, and phishing simulations.
• Knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and the MITRE ATT&CK Matrix.
• Understanding of threat vectors, intrusion detection, and internet architecture.
• Experience with compliance requirements including IRS 1075, SSA, and PII.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure including firewalls, load balancers, LAN/WAN, and GPO.

Preferred Skills

• Cybersecurity certification.
• Python, PowerShell, or XQL.
