Description

Manage security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response for a complex IT infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability scanning, identification, and remediation using tools like Tenable or Nessus.
• Configure and manage endpoint protection, including AV/XDR policies and endpoint agents.
• Monitor SIEM, logging, and syslog systems to identify threat vectors.
• Execute threat hunting, incident response, and remediation tasks.
• Participate in situational tabletop exercises covering malware, phishing, and ransomware.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Advanced proficiency with NIST CSF and MITRE frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Expertise in endpoint protection, hardening, and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Windows 10-11.
• Intermediate proficiency with Linux server administration.
• Technical knowledge of SIEM, logging, and syslog.
• Experience with security tools including Nmap and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure including firewalls, load balancers, and LAN/WAN.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in XQL, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with IRS 1075, SSA, and PII compliance.
