Description

You will design, implement, and oversee security architectures to protect software applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assess software requirements and perform threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security reviews to ensure appropriate controls are designed and implemented.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish security standards, guidelines, and strategies for software development.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to developers on secure coding practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software security or application security, including AI security.
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices, application vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Elixir.
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Fortify, Checkmarx, or OWASP ZAP.
• Knowledge of APIs, cryptographic protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication.
• Experience with AWS cloud security architectures.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including OWASP, BSIMM, NIST, GDPR, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• Ability to work during U.S. Central Timezone working hours.
