Description

You will design and implement enterprise cybersecurity architectures to support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and IT General Controls (ITGC). You will lead security assessments, define control frameworks, and partner with audit teams to ensure regulatory readiness.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise security architectures aligned with SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead security assessments and architecture reviews for applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Define and enforce security controls for ITGCs, access management, change management, and data protection.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams to support SOX audits, remediation, and control testing.
• Develop cybersecurity standards, policies, and technical control frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security architecture.
• 3+ years of experience supporting SOX compliance and ITGC environments.
• Strong understanding of SOX ITGC Controls, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and COBIT frameworks.
• Experience architecting secure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Technical leadership in IAM, PAM, SIEM, endpoint security, and network security.
• Experience supporting external/internal audits and remediation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or CRISC.
• Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.
