Description

You design and oversee security architectures to protect software applications and AI systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and assess software requirements to identify potential risks.
• Conduct security reviews to ensure appropriate controls are designed and implemented.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish security standards, guidelines, and strategies for software development.
• Provide code reviews, secure coding guidance, and mentorship to developers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software security or application security, including AI security.
• Proficiency in Elixir, JavaScript, or Python.
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Fortify, Checkmarx, or OWASP ZAP.
• Knowledge of APIs, cryptographic protocols, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with AWS cloud security architectures.
• Familiarity with compliance standards including HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and BSIMM.
• Ability to work during U.S. Central Timezone hours.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring developers on secure coding practices.
• Background in integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
