Description

You will automate security workflows and manage vulnerability remediation within AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy automation scripts using Python and JavaScript to streamline cybersecurity workflows.
• Design and implement cloud security solutions using AWS services including Lambda, ECR, EKS, and EC2.
• Develop and test REST APIs to ensure secure data transmission and access control.
• Perform vulnerability scanning using Qualys, Prisma Cloud, and Rapid7, then execute remediation steps.
• Monitor security events and incidents using tools like Splunk or ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 12 or more years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECR, EKS, EC2).
• Hands-on experience with REST API development and testing.
• Expertise in vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Prisma Cloud, or Rapid7.
• Experience with security reporting and alerting platforms like Splunk or ServiceNow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security.
• Experience with container security, serverless architectures, and regulatory compliance standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST.
